Mom & Dad
Well my folks are here for a few days....they got here Friday night and are here til next Saturday.My Dad had a meeting in Dallas this week so they came out a little early to stay with me a few days and then his meeting is from Monday til Thursday.
So my Mom called me Tuesday morning and said well they canceled the meeting so we will be back Wednesday night instead of Thursday which is cool with me.
So she calls me today and says you will never guess where I am.....and of course I couldn't so she tells me Norman, OK which is up near Oklahoma City, OK looking at a fifthwheel camper. I said what in the hell are you doing all the way up there. To make a very long and strange story short they were in Denton, TX at a camper dealership and the salesman said oh we have a great 06 model brand new never been pulled on a lot about 50 minutes from here would you like to take a look at it? When the salesman told Mom and Dad the price they said sure. Well 2 1/2 hrs later they pull in to the lot to look at this camper and my Dad is pissed because it was only supposed to be 50 minutes. They get out and look and by the time everything was said and done they got the camper for $2K less a free fifthwheel hitch and a free generator. I thought that was pretty damn good!
Anyways I am off Friday because I wanted to take the out to eat somewhere nice and now we are going to Denton to pick up this camper too!
Parents......so fickle! LOL
