The Voice of GOD or was it my BOSS?

Do you ever have on of those days where this little voice goes to talking to you? Supost to be at work early today for a "PLANT WIDE STAFF MEETING" and just my luck I get caught in traffic! Mind you normally we (I mean TDC supervisors) are not required to be at these meetings...but in this case today I am to be introduced to the entire staff as the new kid on the block! The plant Manager requested thru my Manager that I attend.....so you can imagine what is running thru my head when I am stuck still 5 to 10 minutes away and it gets to be 3:28pm and I am to be in this meeting @ 3:30pm! Like the title says the VOICE OF GOD or MY BOSS.......well it all turned out ok I guess I still have my job and I got there just before the slide came up with my name on it! Thank goodness!.....Country girl is still trying to get used to this BIG CITY traffic!

Unions are soooo out dated

There are a few things I guess I didn't mention about this new job I have....it entales of me being a supervisor for the company that caused me to moved to TEXAS in the first place.....the manufacturing plant that I supervised at in Tennessee is shutting down so I moved out here to TEXAS to get a job with them.......Any ways the real reason for this excert is for me to stand on my sop box and preach about unions!!!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!! Well let me state that differenlty unions suck now! Back when the labor force was treated like 2nd class citizens they worked to fix all those issues and the union did fix those issues but now all the union is good for is taking your monwy and petting the work force! Back in TN I had guys that if you farted to close to them and it burned their nose hair they would file a grevence! OH MY GOSH give me a break......same it seems to be for the folks in TX...here we go again! They know the rules but they seem to just wanna try your limits anyway! Honestly everyone wants to blame BUSH for the TN plant closing but I think the DAMN union is to blame they pushed and took the company until the company had no choice. These 1200 people that worked in that factory will be out of jobs by OCT 2005, seems like a waste......

The New Girl On The Block

Well kids since my last blog I have gotten a new job!!!!! My fellow blogger
Lila (AKA MY BEST BUD) isn't so happy because this means I will probably
be in TEXAS for awhile.....but you can't blame a girl.....I mean I did get a HUGE
raise in my annual salary more than this sooooon to be 30yr old gal would
have ever dreamed she would be making! Come ON ya hear me! But the thing my
Lola has to remember that she is always in my heart and in my thoughts because
NO BODY can replace her! She is sooooo one of a kind! Well hopefully she will be
able to visit the BIG state of TEXAS soon. well over and out!
