Retirement is soooooooo far away.........

Today I found out that a lady that I have worked with in my five years here at Carrier is retiring....she has worked for Carrier for 30 or 40 years not sure which still a LONG DAMN TIME! Ya hear me......so Miriam and I {(Miriam and I worked together @ the plant in TN) she moved out here and is now working with me again}....we decided to send Mrs. Loraine a nice gift that says thanks for being so very easy for us to work with and congrats on retirement....Miriam went to the flower shop here in Tyler found a beautiful arrangement to send that will be $40 and then the hammer fell....$35 to ship the Damn thing.....we dont think so!!!!!....anyways to make this story move along there is a totally awesome specialty shop here just opened and man is it GREAT,.....they have every kind of gourmet chocolate you could imagine....so Mim loded up a basket and we are sending that to Loraine for a mere $12 shipping ya hear me......anyways it wasnt the cost of the arrangement that outraged us it was the damn shipping give me a break I work in shipping I know what that stuff should cost to send.......oh well one GREAT thing come out of this we found the speciality shop now I am going 2 morrow and buying jalapeno jelly belly jelly beans for my brother not that he deserves them after being pissy over the asstroglyde comments from b4 but I guess that is why I love him cause I can't hate him.....lol.....I am going to pick up some bourbon cherries for my dad too......oh and I am sure my peeps will get something from this store since I AM FLYING BACK HOME IN 5 DAYS!!! Oh and they have gourmet doggie biscuits in the shape of kitties so My Neice and Nephew Molly and Puck will get goodies too and of course my spawn of satan's dog will get her some too.....the goofy little shit she gets her own treats out of the cabinet under the sink.......she is sooooooooooooo funny she goes into the kitchen looks around like to see if anybody is watchin and will give her a treat if no one gives her one she littlerally sighs and then takes her nose and flings open the cabinet door grabs a treat and dashes out of the kitchen..............it is really funny to watch.......anyways......enough rambling.
